The Distance Learning course model offered at UNISC is special because it is rooted in the use of information technologies and communication and it encourages cooperative learning and autonomy. Following this concept, the educational process takes place in a virtual learning environment which works as a virtual classroom available to students 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. For each subject inside the course, students will have access to study materials carefully created for them.
Students attending online classes must dedicate some time during the week to complete their class activities. Every week, there will be a learning schedule the student must follow. This learning schedule guides the student on individual activities like readings, research, syntheses and video lessons, or even group activities such as debates, problem solving tasks and group papers the student must develop.
